Structurally, Beatitude is incredibly sound.  She was our highest appraising first freshener in 2008.  The appraiser told us she would definitely appraise excellent in the future.

Beatitude is smooth from withers to rump with a tight shoulder assembly, nice rump width, great length, and strength of bone.  We were quite excited to see her freshen the first year and were not disappointed.  Her udder is impeccable;  nice sized teats with great delineation, high and tight with great attachment in the rear, and a nicely extended foreudder.  A second freshening in '09 has added width and more capacity.  When she and Splash are next to each other it is difficult to tell the difference between their udders because of the similarity in style.

2009:  Beatitude is still fairly immature looking at 3yo, and we think she needs another year to become the "WOW" doe she has the potential of being.  Just like her paternal sister, Promise, she is placing higher in the line this year than last.  She is a very strong milker, but unfortunately, her ulcer has again flared up after kidding this year and we couldn't keep weight on her unless we reduced her milk load.  Her weight gain is finally improving, but we will never be able to see her full milking potential and are not sure how this will affect her show career.   Her feed ration is strictly alfalfa, rolled barley and very minimal grain.
