| Valentine is another example of the beautiful kids that Bea produces. She is extremely correct, with a lovely top line, width, and front assembly. She sports beautiful height and width to the escutcheon with excellent rear leg placement. Valentine's temperament is exceptional, as are her dam's and sister, Splash, in the herd. The one thing I would change is her stature. She is a smaller doe which unfortunately ends up dinging her in the show ring. Hopefully, through some buck lines, we can improve that trait, as otherwise she is an extremely correct and beautiful doe. |

It was a difficult decision to sell Charis' dam, Belecia, but we needed to keep numbers down on the milkers. I wish we could have gotten Belecia on test because she was quite the milker. This line is known for their tenacity for food, which has often translated into milk. Charis shows that same tenacity so lets hope that will also translate into MILK! :) Belecia has just recently been awarded her superior genetics designation. Fortunately, I was able to make a deal and breed Max to her and receive her doe kid, Charis, back.
Charis is a very large doe that possesses great width, and length, with lovely dairy character. She maintains beautiful blending from neck to withers, great angularity, accompanied by a strong topline and excellent rump slope. We were so pleased with this breeding, she is just a beautiful doe kid. We are really looking forward to seeing her freshen as her half sister, Pearl, freshened with such an exceptional mammary. |

| Our last kid of the 2007 season was also our most anticipated. Regiestered under my son's herd name, Alleen is the product of a breeding from our wonderful Saharan who died a young and untimely death from Clostridium Type A. Saharan had been unable to settle any does due to his young age, but in a last ditch attempt for the season we tried him on one last doe. He got sick only 4 days later and died. It was a long three weeks before we knew for sure, but we were absolutely thrilled when we found out the breeding took. Lo and behold, months later, a single doe kid was born, and Alleen was our reward. Alleen in African means "Only" which is exactly what she will always be. She will be our only reminder of Saharan. Alleen is a beautiful copy of her sire structurally. She possesses excellent dairy character, good length, is well sprung with a straight topline and has an excellent rump. She has very good width between the hocks as well as strong feet and legs. She is a beautiful testament to Saharan. |

Sire: Waiilatpu WRR Acceleration DS: *B CH Le Chevrier Happi Jester Dam: Star Rise April Rayn DD: ECPG Colleen Acceleration |
| Carmen is our new addition and has the trademark body width, strength of bone, and excellent topline of the other Acceleration daughters in our herd. She possesses excellent width between the hocks, a very smooth shoulder set and excels in dairy character. Carmen is a prime example of Acceleration's ability to throw stong type, being very similar in structure to her paternal sisters Beatitude and Promissio. Carmen is polled as are her sister and dam. We are very intrigued by the polled genetics and are looking forward to working with them. She has won her dry leg. |

A carbon copy of her sire, Jardin is an elegant doe with a lot of stretch, correct leg set, and tight shoulder assembly. From a slower maturing line, Jardin needs some time to come up to speed. If she freshens with the absolutely socked on udder and amazingly beautiful mammary her dam possessed, we will be sooooo pleased! :) |

| Another beautiful and classy doe from our matriarch, Bea! Vogue is a very large doe kid and has incredible width in the rump and strength in the front end. She possesses great length, and excellent leg curvature with loads of width between the hocks with a high escutcheon. This is one gorgeous doe kid. |

| I really like this doe! Devine is just so very smooth in her blending all the way around. A doe with exquisite dairyness coupled with strength. She is a very long uphill doe, nice topline, excellent rump slope with a marvelous stance to her. Although our does are few this year, we are getting some wonderful kids from Rage and are incredibly pleased. |

Sequoia Wood ATR Assurance (Sury) |
DOB: 4/29/08, Dark chamoisee, American Show Record: 2008: 1 x JRGCH, 2 x 1st Linear Appraisal: 2008: Too young to be appraised '08 fall breeding plans: Sury will remain dry |
| After a season of few does being born, Promise decided to bless us with Ava and Sury. These two kids are quite different from each other. Although both exhibit excellent dairy character, wide open escutcheons and width from Rage, the resemblance stops there! Both have excellent top lines, but Ava is a bit more level in the rump, and shows a bit more spring in her ribbing. Sury has the length and stature from Promise, her dam, but with smoother blending all the way through while also being a bit more uphill. Sury is the stronger in general appearance of the two being very elegant in her carriage. Both doe kids have their own strengths. It will be interesting to watch them as they mature. |

| Viv is a lovely feminine, white legged sundgau that we think truly has the IT factor. We love her length and how smoothly she is blended. She has wonderful rump width and a spot on leg set that tracks straight. We love her dam, Savoir-Faire, and have watched Savvy for the last two years. Savoir-Faire garnered two GCH legs in 2007 as a two year old in tough California competition, even after a long boute with ketosis. Her first show out this year (2008) she finished her championship with two GCH/BDIS awards. Savvy can also milk, with a 2007 production at 2700 lbs. for a 305 day lactation and that was with the long boute of Ketosis at the beginning of her lactation! 2008 has her starting out with a bang with 14.8lbs on her first test at two weeks fresh and 17lbs. on her 2nd test. Speed, Viv's sire, is a beautiful cou blanc with gorgeous type. His dam, Sebastienne, was 2nd place/2nd udder 3yo at the 2007 ADGA Nat'l show and was awarded the high Alpine single lactation and butterfat there as well. This put her in the ADGA top ten breedleader for butterfat! We are just thrilled to add Viv to the line up and feel her pedigree has much to offer our herd. Many thanks to Leslie and Randy for consenting to sell us Vivre. No, Randy, you can't have her back. ;) |
