Promise is a very impressive looking doe both in size and structure.  Combining incredible length and
strength of bone she still manages to maintain her femininity.  As a very immature yearling and at times
even verging on being somewhat frail looking, she rarely placed well in her classes, most of the time being at the
end of the line.  She was such a good milker that she had a hard time staying well fleshed, and frankly just
wasn't much to look at.  She went through tremendous growth near the age of two and really showed a hint
of what she could become by appraising an 88 as a 2nd freshener.  Slowly she began moving up the line.
As a 3yo she seemed to finally make strides both in structure just as her sire, Acceleration, had and then also
in the show ring while appraising 90EX.
She has been our most consistent and productive milker in the herd
peaking at 15lbs at one month fresh this year.  We wonder if it may have been better, but she has been thrown into a
rigourous show schedule that has impacted her production somewhat.  Next year we may keep her home just
so we can see what her potential is in that area.  Her daughter, Pearl, is very similar in type with a little more fore udder,
and it will be interesting to see how she pulls together.  Assurance, her other daughter has been placing higher in the line
than Promise ever did and has an elegance about her that will be fun to watch as she matures.

 Promise's Sire, Acceleration
