2009 Show Report

We had been planning on attending Nationals, but due to the does being VERY uncooperative about settling in the fall we had a very long drawn out kidding season. We started in March and ended at the beginning of July!  Long story..... ~ but it did impact our showing season, attending the National show and also held us back from participating in Linear appraisal this year.  This resulted in a very short show season for us.  We only attended two ADGA shows and one ADGA sanctioned fair.  Regardless of that, we still did well and were very pleased with our doe's showings despite not being in their most prime condition.

We will not be attending the Oregon State Fair this year, due to trying to go to the October National Convention in NY.  We feel our funds would be better spent there.  We are looking forward to 2010 and hope to return to the Oregon State Fair then!  We had a blast last year and are sorry to miss it this year!

Highlights to our season!

Splash:  Won BDIS

Beatitude: Won her first GCH leg towards her championship.

Promise:  Missed the first part of the show season due to a late kidding and a mild bout of mastitis which impacted her production this year.  Despite that, at the first show she did attend, she went BDIS.

Alleen:  Went RGCH two different times as a first freshening 2yo.  The udder on this doe is phenomenal!

Connie:  Jr. doe out of our yearling buck, Hotty, won her dry leg.

Here's how we placed at the three shows we did attend:
